Chi sono

Sono la Dott. Chianese Giuseppina, nata a Napoli il 29/12/1982. Ho conseguito la laurea in Chimica e Tecnologia Farmaceutiche nel 2007, presso il Dip. di Farmacia, Università di Napoli “Federico II” e il Dottorato di Ricerca in Scienza del Farmaco, nel 2011.

La mia attività scientifica, centrata nell’ambito della Chimica delle Sostanze Naturali, è finalizzata all’estrazione e isolamento di metaboliti bioattivi da invertebrati marini e piante terrestri. Tale attività ha comportato l’isolamento di oltre 50 nuovi metaboliti, che coprono una vasta gamma di classi strutturali, varie origini biogenetiche e interessanti proprietà biologiche. Durante la mia ricerca ho acquisito forti competenze in tecniche analitiche e nella determinazione strutturale attraverso l’applicazione e l’interpretazione della spettroscopia NMR e della spettrometria di massa. Ad oggi, la mia attività di ricerca è documentata da 21 paper su riviste peer-reviewed (di cui 7 come primo autore).

Cosa ho fatto

Dal 2012 ad oggi, sono una post-doc researcher presso il Dip. di Farmacia, Università di Napoli “Federico II”. La mia attività di ricerca, finanziata da un assegno di ricerca STRAIN/DOTTORI DI RICERCAESPERTI/5 (SSD CHIM06) ha come obiettivo l’isolamento e caratterizzazione di prodotti naturali marini come “lead compounds” nella drug discovery.
